The Council on the Global Integration of Healthcare (CGIH) is a voluntary, non-profit
organization focused on advancing the development and role of the professional
practices, education and research in global clinically integrated healthcare and
healthcare administration including medical tourism.
This is accomplished through:
• Promoting professional development through continuing education
• Providing current and reliable industry trend information
• Providing current and reliable industry legislative information
• Encouraging the development of health administration and clinical integration
• Promoting professional communication among members and organizations
Membership in CGIH is generally comprised of professional individuals from the
healthcare industry and supporting organizations worldwide.
To realize the CGIH Mission, the following principles shall be followed:
• CGIH is comprised of volunteers from the industry
• The CGIH Board elections are held yearly, providing opportunities for volunteer positions
for organization members
• CGIH shall regularly sponsor or co-sponsor educational programs which comply with its
Mission Statement
• CGIH shall publish the CGIH Connection to inform its members of timely notifications,
market updates, and legislative action impacting managed care and reimbursement in the
global sector
• CGIH shall maintain a professional and discreet job bank through its social network
• CGIH shall require a nominal yearly membership fee beginning in 2010 under the jurisdiction
of the Board

In accordance with the policies of CGIH educational programming, commercial messages or
bias are prohibited during the presentation. The program is strictly educational in nature.
